The Louisville Waterfront Fourth celebration will feature free musical entertainment, family activities, a patriotic installation of 15,000 US flags, festival cuisine, and a Zambelli fireworks display from a barge on the Ohio River. The family-friendly Louisville Waterfront Fourth celebration will open at 5pm. There will also be a large area devoted to engaging with our community helpers. Families can meet our first responders, fire fighters and police officers who will have special equipment on display. Featuring FREE concerts with performances by The Zach Longoria Project, James Lindsey & Company, Joslyn & the Sweet Compression, and The Spinsters Union of Louisville.
The Catfish Louie Kids’ Area (5-9pm) will feature pony rides; a petting farm; putt putt sponsored by the Louisville Downtown Partnership; and music, art, and other activities.
Fireworks by Zambelli are at 10pm and upscale festival cuisine, Yuengling Beer Garden, and the Bourbon Bar.

The parade takes place at 10am. The route is along Spring Street from the riverfront to Warder Park. No horses or like size animals allowed in parade. Please join everyone in Warder Park (corner of Court Avenue and Spring Street) immediately after the parade for a special Independence Day Program featuring patriotic remarks by veterans and officials, patriotic songs, and the awarding of the parade trophies! The City of Hillview hosts a bluegrass/country music show each Thursday evening. No admission charge. Concessions, including fish, are sold. Kitchen opens at 5:30 PM, music starts at 6:00 PM.
