Breast cancer SUCKS! The National Breast Cancer Foundation, Inc. says that 1 in 8 women in the U.S. will develop breast cancer in a lifetime. Just think about that. I’m sure we have 7 other friends which means one of us will develop breast cancer. This year, an estimated 41,760 women will die of breast cancer. According to the World Health Organization, breast cancer is the most common cancer among women. So what can you do to help? There are several breast cancer awareness events happening in Louisville this October and here’s some you can attend to support those with breast cancer or support further research.
