Frankfort Ave Real Estate

One of the most popular and well-known streets in all of Louisville, Frankfort Avenue stretches to connect the charming and sought-after neighborhoods of Clifton, Crescent Hill, and St. Matthews. The Avenue has something for everyone, from locally owned restaurants (there are more than 30 locally owned restaurants located along a 2.5 mile stretch), art studios, boutiques, galleries, and other attractions. It even has a unique calendar to keep up with all of the events on The Avenue, which includes several annual events, including the Easter Parade, the Olde Tyme Christmas Celebration, the Old Fashioned Fourth of July Art and Music Festival, and more.

If you’re looking to shop for something particular, the Avenue is the place to go. From coffee, wine, books, home furnishings, antiques, vintage and consignment clothing, outdoor gear, handcrafted items, imported crafts, local artisans, and more– you’ll find it on Frankfort Avenue. On the last Friday of every month, trolleys run the length of The Avenue for the FAT Friday Trolley Hop, which often includes live music, samples, and sales.

If consumerism isn’t an interest to you, note that the nieghborhood is also full of libraries, parks, schools, and other unique attractions, including the Peterson-Dumesnil House, the Louisville Water Company, and the American Printing House for the Blind.
